Studio, Part II

Saturday, 9:27 PM We ended up finishing all the music the first day, so we've been taking our time doing the vocals, as well as the tambourine and organ overdubs (no, seriously). We're really happy with how it's coming out. Tomorrow we'll finish the vocals on the last few songs and then we're done. Hopefully there should be some unmastered versions up online soon.

Studio, Part I

Friday, 11:48 PM We've been recording since noon after 5 hours of sleep, doing everything live in the big garage by suggestion of Ryan Stack/the first Get Up Kids record. More than half the music is done, but we still have quite a few pick slides to overdub. We did all the easier songs first, so now things are taking a bit longer, and the process is further prolonged by all the snowboarding in between takes. Hopefully we'll finish all the music by three, which means we will have three more days to do vocals and put the right amount of flanger on the hi-hats. It's snowy in Maine. or New Hampshire

Recording

Apologies for not updating this regularly. All our shows have been great, now we are just finishing up writing the full length and are going to Maine to record this weekend (19th-22nd). We'll have updates and photos while we're up there.
